Omaha, NE - November 18, 2007
Us2 LLC, headquartered in Omaha, NE has announced that it has developed the first children's animated cartoon series starring a character with two parents of the same gender. According to the Executive Producer of the show, Margaux Towne-Colley, "Buddy G is a historic development in children's entertainment. Ms. Towne-Colley who is originally from Orlando, FL added, “We are very proud of this cartoon and what it means to our families.”
The star of the cartoon is "Buddy G," a five year old boy who loves science and solves daily problems with the help of his sidekick "Socrates," an armband computer with Internet capabilities. In addition to Buddy G's 2 moms, the cartoon includes a 7 year old next door neighbor "Owen," who is fascinated with Elvis. In this premiere episode, The Lost Rings, the boys learn the value of being truthful while picking up some facts from Socrates about the science of metal detectors.

Peter writes "Katharine Zappone and Ann Louise Gilligan said that failure to recognise their marriage breached their rights.
The two were married in 2003 in British Columbia, Canada, after that province legalised same-sex marriage.
They live in Ireland and have been a couple for 25 years. They are the first homosexual couple to go to court over the issue after being married abroad.
The couple had argued that failure to recognise their marriage breached their rights under the Irish constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights.

Canada upholds gay marriage law
Posted by dizzy on Monday, December 11 @ 18:13:47 PST (1133 reads)
Canadian MPs have rejected a proposal by the governing Conservative party to overturn a law allowing gay marriage.
Twelve Conservative MPs, including several members of the cabinet, joined Liberals and Canada's other opposition parties to defeat the motion 175-123.
During his successful election campaign earlier this year, Prime Minister Stephen Harper promised to bring the law back before parliament.
Canada is one of just five countries where gay marriage is legal.
The law was passed after intense debate in July 2005.
Belgium, the Netherlands, South Africa and Spain are the only other countries that allow gay marriage

Catholics clearly say NO to homosexuals
Posted by dizzy on Saturday, November 26 @ 14:28:43 PST (743 reads)
The Vatican has drafted new guidelines to reaffirm policy on homosexuality and keeping gays and "supporters of gay culture" out of the priesthood.
Men who experience a short-lived phase of homosexuality may join a seminary if they have overcome such tendencies for at least three years, the draft says.
The do*****ent, due to be released next week, has been published online by an Italian Catholic news web site, Adista.
The new guidelines were prompted by a 2002 sex abuse scandal among US clergy.
They make no reference to current priests, but only to those about to join a seminary. A church official who asked to remain anonymous confirmed the authenticity of the do*****ent to AP news agency.
Critics have already objected that gay seminarians might feel they have no choice but to lie about their sexual orientation.
Others say the new rules might lead to a dramatic drop in the number of vocations, especially in countries like the USA, where more than 25% of Catholic priests are believed to be non-practising homosexuals.
